Connecting through Stories: My Collaboration with Chelmsford College

When it comes to working with clients, my “why" is simple: to connect and communicate to audiences through meaningful narratives and using educational principles. I believe that a great story can inform, inspire, and create a lasting connection, and it’s this philosophy that guides every project I undertake.

Working with Chelmsford College to create a series of new promotional videos for their courses was the perfect opportunity to put this belief into practice.

The goal was to create a coherent campaign that puts authentic student stories and experiences at the forefront. I worked closely with the college’s marketing team to design an overall strategy that would capture the real spirit of learning at Chelmsford. This meant no scripts, no prompts, no staged scenes, but instead focusing on the individual journeys, their thoughts, their opinions, their honest recommendations.


This video for Business Studies is one of three currently available, and it provides an authentic look at what it’s like to study at the college.


I believe that this approach not only makes for more engaging content for multiple target audiences, but also allows prospective students to relate and feel a connection to the college before they even step through the doors.


I’m so excited to be continuing this journey with Chelmsford College and to share the other videos with you as they are released.
