Chelmsford Pioneers Light Parade 2023 - Trailer
A trailer for the Chelmsford Pioneer's Light Parade event on February 9th 2023 which celebrated Crompton, Marconi, Hoffman, Knight, Chappelow & Attridge. A STEAM project, the Ideas Hub worked in partnership with two local primary schools to grow the career aspirations of children from deprived backgrounds which culminated in a community Light Parade to showcase the work of the children and bring people together whilst also celebrating the pioneers of Chelmsford. The school part of the project was funded by a £98,000 grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Community Part, the Light Parade by an Arts Council England Grant. Who is the most influential filmmaker of all time? That's the challenge that I set the young filmmakers that I've taught. This little information video was made as my example arguing the case for the film pioneer George Melies. Ubuntu's Day: Ideas Hub Festival 2019 - Promotional Film
Curious Spirit was happy to support Ubuntu Day, part of the Chelmsford Ideas Hub Festival 2019. Ubuntu is an African philosophy which means: "I am who I am because who we are". The festival featured a range of cultural shows and performances, skill sharing workshops and food stalls from round the world.
